The house can accommodate up to four guests in two bedrooms on the second floor, offering quiet respite. Accommodations for a fifth guest are available upon request.

An Urban Eco-Retreat

Enter inside and be greeted by spacious, airy living and dining rooms with high ceilings and original artwork.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction stove that is ready for your culinary adventures. Partake of them at the formal dining table or al fresco on the large stone patio, where you can soak up some sun or cozy up by the gas fire pit under the stars.

Your Comfort and Pleasure

Testament to the rich history of this 120-year old home is its distinctive character blended throughout with amenities provided with your comfort and pleasure in mind.

The upstairs bathroom features an historic clawfoot tub with high-pressure shower. Pamper yourself with complementary organic shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soft organic cotton towels.

Drift off to sleep in organic bedding on a luxurious, hypoallergenic mattress encased within a waterproof protector.

Help yourself to complementary organic fair-trade coffee and teas sourced from the neighborhood cooperative grocery.

Clean Healthy Home

The home was updated using eco-friendly building materials and paints, and it is maintained with chemical-free plant-based cleaning supplies.

Air fresheners made with just citrus oils are placed at your fingertips in the kitchen and bathroom.

The practice of reduce, reuse, recycle, and compost is closely followed, and all paper products purchased are made from post-consumer recycled paper.

Water from the Bull Run Reservoir in the Mount Hood National Forest is piped directly to the home. A special tap from an under-sink filter in the kitchen adds extra care that harmful chemicals won’t make it into your bloodstream. This also eliminates the need for bottled water and reduces your environmental impact.

Your Personal Space

Your host Scott values your privacy and space yet is available nearby on the property to answer any questions about things to see and do or if any needs or issues arise, ensuring your stay exceeds your expectations.

For your seamless entry, your lock code and detailed self check-in instructions, including photographs, will be emailed to you in the late morning or early afternoon your arrival date.

The perfect combination of privacy, comfort, and convenience await you at this hidden gem in the heart of Northeast Portland’s most inviting neighborhoods.

Vegan Paradise

If you are vegan or just interested in enjoying more healthy plant-based meals, Portland is your paradise! With more than 85 vegan restaurants, food carts and bars, Portland is known as the vegan capital of the world, and this home is close to many of them.
